I would suggest Rev 3:20. Ask Him. ... He is real. If you are real with Him, He will come and take away all doubt. He will come and talk with you, and you with Him. I would suggest that since you will be meeting a truly Holy God, that you prepare yourself like Moses did before climbing Mount Sinai. I would understand like Isaiah that when you come "face to face" with God you will find yourself saying "Woe is me!!!". It is overwhelming at the contrast between the sinner and God and you will wonder if you can stand in His Presence. Forgiveness of all sins helps.

I would ask the Lord to open up your book of life and go over it with you. It will help to know sins that you might want to forget about, sins that are what you thought "little" sins, because they all will hand off you like snot. When He lays His righteousness on your shoulders with all forgiven, then you will be able to stand in His Presence. So be not faint of heart, be strong, steadfast, and determined to hang on like Jacob until you have been blessed.
