Depends where you go. I visited one restaurant a while back that was all-you-can-eat and included hibachi. I'm not a huge fan of it myself so I stuck to sushi and other goodies. I think I ate my own body weight in sushi. Not bad for $15.

At Japanese restaurants you will see Hibachi cooks who generally "cook" right in front of you on a hot metal table of sorts. They are very talented with those knives!

My daughter's class when she was in elementary school had a field trip at one of those restaurants and it was a blast! The food was perfectly cooked but then when I returned a few months later my meat was tough. hmm

Yeah, the food is too expensive to not be excellent. My experience was not worth the money. But it was fun watching the chef perform.
