I have no doubt that God's angels are with the believer 24/7. (Heb. 1:13-14) Just as Satan's angels and demons know who the believer is and are constantly trying to destroy us. (1 Peter 5:8) (Eph. 6:12)

I'm sure every believer has times in their life where a miraculous intervention was necessary to avoid severe tragedy or death, and was given that help through angelic ministry.

It's not as though one needs to 'feel' it. We know they are there, as Scripture dictates, and know there is no other explanation in our deliverance. What we are unaware of is the multitude of times we were in danger and delivered and never knew it.

I'm sure they do. And I'm sure I do. But the problem is: when you state your story, especially on a forum, it is immediately doubted by all. Even by believers. It's almost to personal to subject to ridicule.

But make no mistake, we who are believers, or who will be believers, keep those angels mighty busy.

I am sure that it has happened, but I am not in tune enough or otherwise did not notice.

I have counted myself as "lucky" a few times when something disastrous could very easily have happened, and I tend to think that "someone" was looking out for me on those occasions.

Of course, we might say that God himself intervened or had some purpose in life for me that kept me from the disaster, but there's every reason to think that his angels do very genuinely work in our world. The Bible has a number of examples of such a thing, so there's little reason to doubt it even if I didn't see angels in the way that a movie might portray it.

There are many times in my life when God has directly (or indirectly through angels) rescued and protected me. I can't sort out whether or not angels were involved in each instance, but God has acted in them. (Book: What God Has Done: My True, Dramatic God-Biography [Amazon]).
