That's really good. I know they have very much improved hip surgery now a days. My grandmother had hip surgery in the 70s and it was horrible for her before and after. My manager had 2 hip surgeries and is also doing much better now.

Hi. Good afternoon. Not feeling so good. Blood sugar was too high this morning but went down 2 hours after eating but is still higher than normal. I guess I have to really restrict what I eat; not liking this!

I am using a Freestyle Libre now, which is a sensor you wear on your arm and replace every ten days. I had to replace mine this morning. It allows you to use a scanner to scan your sensor and it tells you your blood sugar number, so no finger sticking. Except for the 12 hours when you change sensors. I think it might be cost effective too because I use very few test strips now for my glucometer

Good evening! I have some news I heard tonight and hope it's true. A man who lives in my building told me that my upstairs neighbors are moving to the building next door. The only thing that gets to me is that the management lets them stay here after the torture they put me though! I think they are moving because the woman has a bad knee and would be better on the first floor where the apt. they are moving is I think. Any how I will have to forgive and forget (for my own mental health sake) and wish them good luck and also don't let the door hit you on the way out...LOL Gotto keep my sense of humor. It's the only thing that gets me though. I just realized it's almost the end of the month--only one week left and they will be out of here..I so hope it's true!!:flute-angel:

Glad the Freestyle is working out. Can you bathe with that? Do you have to cover it when you bathe?

I don't cover it and it is fine in the shower. I don't think your suppose to swim with it as it is water resistant, but you could loosen the tape by getting it too wet.
