I've never liked needles and the last time I gave a blood sample was probably three years ago. I should get it checked again I guess. It's not a huge deal, objectively speaking, so I just grit my teeth and get on with it.

Tango's response to the challenge of a blood draw is one I agree with. Our aversion to the procedure is out of proportion to the actual event, so just get on with it. After all, it only takes seconds to complete. I should add that I never look at any of the phlebotomist's equipment or my own arm when it's about to happen or while it's going on.

I get my blood drawn about every three or four months to check my diabetes. It is no big deal but some nurses are better at it than others.

No, not really. Probably biggest concern was if the needle/syringe was used/not properly cleaned/sterilized recently on a vaxxed person.
