Target’s range of inclusive Christmas products, including its “Pride Christmas Nutcracker” and Santa Claus figurines in wheelchairs while Black, have ignited a debate from the right.

Do you think that these products have gone “way too far”?

Queer nutcrackers and black Santas in wheel chairs. I think they go together very well.

They haven't gone too far for the U.S. This what the U.S. embraces. This is what the U.S. represents.

If you think otherwise, in the U.S., then you have gone too far.

Black Santa is fine, but the original one is Turkish.

Normally Saint Nicholas is white, but you don't look white. How come?
I am original Saint Nicholas. All the others are fake. Where does Saint Nicholas come from? Well the original one comes from Turkey. Indeed. I am original Saint Nicholas.
Where is your horse?
Yes horse is bit expensive. Turkey has economic crisis.
And you have Petes with you but those are not black petes.
Black Pete is problem from the Netherlands and expensive.
But I take cheapest Pete with me, Polish and Bulgarian Pete (meanwhile stealing in the background)
Do you have a last message for your viewers?
Yes black clothes is okay.
Black car is okay.
Black wife is okay.
But black money may not.
Black work may not.
Black Pete totally may not.

I'm not sure why anyone cares what color skin a fictitious character is given. Disabled Santa seems odd, if the tradition is that Santa comes down the chimney it's hard to see how he could do that in a wheelchair.

Pushing social justice might lower the effect of empathy so when people run into real disadvantaged people there is less sympathy. Maybe that's correct.
