Favorite horror movies?

You guys want to watch a real horror flick?
I grew up with this movie, it's based on actual events and is just as scary in the daylight.
This was made in 1991 but fulfills the horror of a tormented religious family haunted by a demon infestation.
From what my grandparents told me (they were strict Catholics) this is the stuff that they actually described.
There are no jump scenes and no horrible CGI, this is what a normal Catholic family had to deal with and believe me scary movies are not my thing, but this one is the exception, very realistic.

I do not like possession themed films on the whole so I avoid them. I don't watch the blood filled serial killing horror themed films either. The news is getting too much like one of those films. As Jesus said, Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof. I suppose mostly I do not like horror films.

With Jesus in my heart, I cannot watch this type of stuff. There is VERY LITTLE on television anymore that I can subject myself to as a Christian.

Me neither, even before I came to know God I just never got into them. I'm into documentaries and true stories or history.
Again I enjoyed "The Haunted 1991" because its realistic and it's about how faith and prayer and family and drive out demonic activity, but thats as far as I will go. Everything on TV is trash, i usually end up watching Home Improvement reruns if Les Feldick isnt on lol.

I don't watch TV much at all anymore. There's always cursing, using the Lord's name in vain, half naked people, dirty jokes, witchcraft etc. God opened my eyes to the evil on television about a year ago. All of the sudden I could see the wickedness like never before. We as Christians should guard our hearts by also guarding our eyes and ears. I thank God and praise His name for the clarity He has given me.

Haha Same here. I watch lots of HGTV until the homosexual couples start househunting.

Ah, okay, thanks for the info! My daughter and I are currently binge watching all the seasons of American Horror Story. I've seen them all before but she hasn't seen every season yet.

I rented 'Happy Death Day' not too long ago (yeah, I know, a teen flick...). It's like a twisted Groundhog Day - actually pretty funny in different spots. Predictable, but the humor makes up for it.

There's a second one coming!

I saw Shaun Of The Dead today on Netflix..its more of a comedy though.
