Just wondered if there are any particularly good beers out there that people like.

At the moment I'm largely alternating between stouts and IPAs. I recently discovered Yards and some of their beers, and particularly liked, funnily enough, their Love Stout and their IPA.

I'm thinking of trying some Rogue stouts before too long.

What do other people like? I realise some people don't drink beer at all for a variety of reasons, I'm not looking for a theological discussion on the merits or otherwise of alcohol (but quite happy to do so in another thread!), just wondering what those who do drink beer like to drink.

I have a glass of wine on Mondays, and communion wine in the mass. But I am not much of a drinker and I've never been drunk :)

Vic Bitter, James Boag's Premium Lager, Hahn Premium, Heineken, Grolsch. Of course, I prefer lagers and those are all lagers.

But the best beer is the stuff you make yourself. I dislike buying beer.

Fun fact: The Hops in beer has a very close relative: Cannabis. They can even be grafted together from what I understand.

Interesting tidbit about hops. I like hoppy beers, so far I have yet to find the point where "hoppy" becomes "too hoppy".
