It's Earth Day today according to my calendar and the news but one thing that stood out is the posts I've seen on Facebook encouraging people to make Earth Day Altars. Altars??? I'm really not comfortable with that kind of thing. What do you think?

Earth day altars would be a pagan thing. I would have nothing to do with those celebrations.

I'm not personally comfortable with it, either; but if people who worship nature as their religion choose to adopt the style of other religions--altars and holy days included--then I guess that makes sense for them.
