Advent will soon be upon us! Do you use Advent candles at home?

Yes, we do. I think it is a nice tradition to maintain.

Sometimes we do. In any case, it's a lovely tradition, particularly if there are minor children in the home.

Many Christian people don't know what to make of Advent and, if they're aware of the season at all, they think of it as a sort of a pre-game warmup for Christmas Day. In a way, it is. But in another way it isn't. Reading the scripture appointed for these Sundays can put that into perspective, therefore.

I admit that I don't use them at home!! I'm buying some this year (another church is doing a fundraiser for an abortion pregnancy resource center), so I need to find a wreath or some holder to put them in.
