Do aliens fit in with Christian beliefs?
Do aliens fit in with Christian beliefs?
what do you mean by "aliens"?
The Lord never said that He hasn't created other sapient beings elsewhere in the universe. Personally, I'd be surprised if He hadn't. However, "aliens" on our planet are another thing altogether. Once when I was a teen, my friend and I were out one summer night when we saw a light and heard a noise from a dark field just off of our route.Do aliens fit in with Christian beliefs?
According to scientists, there are 6 billion habitable earth-like planets in the Milky Way galaxy. That leaves the possibility for a lot of life that possibly needs salvation.
We really don't know. It's one of those mysteries. I mean, I don't want to take Bible verses too literally all the time.Did Jesus die for them though?

Truly it is time today that the Church considers this matter of alien visitors from another planet, because there have already been U.S. Congressional hearings with testimony by three U.S. Navy pilots that came forth to describe what they saw and experienced when flying their Navy jets off the island of Catalina (I think it was Catalina off the coast of California). The New York Times picked up on it. Their Congressional testimonies are on YouTube.
Personally, I DO NOT BELIEVE ALIENS ACTUALLY EXIST. NOR DO I BELIEVE UFO'S (of UAP's they are called now), ARE FROM OTHER PLANETS. I BELIEVE UFO'S ARE FROM THAT 'OTHER' DIMENSION (some Ufologists now believe this too.)
If they aren't Aliens, then what are they? I believe they are Satan's fallen angels.
I also believe the many various outer likeness descriptions of aliens, like some Star Trek TV show, is only a 'mask' those fallen angels are able to generate and appear with. Like the Christopher Walken movie Communion, the story written by an author who claimed he and his family were visited by aliens in their vacation cabin in upstate New York, he finally said to them when he asked who they were, "You're not going to show me who you really are, are you?" While he asked them that, they were constantly changing their outward appearance.
Some UFOlogists believe UFO's are appearing from another dimension, not traveling from light years away. This is because of how they suddenly appear out of thin air, and likewise suddenly disappear. This is what I believe also. They are appearing from the heavenly dimension, which is where the abode of hell also exists, but in a place of separation away from God's Throne. (see Luke 16 of what Lord Jesus taught about the two sides of the great fixed gulf in that other dimension.)
The British philosopher Richard Dawkins, the world's head atheist, was interviewed by Ben Stein in his video Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed. Stein finally asked Dawkins how the creation happened, and how did man get here. Dawkins said in speculation, "Maybe the aliens seeded the planet and genetically engineered us and put us here." Same old story with atheists, anything but GOD will do.
That led me thinking. In Revelation 12:7 forward, which is NOT about past history, but for the end of this world, there's to be a war in Heaven between Archangel Michael and his angels, vs. Satan and his angels. And then Satan and his angels will be cast out... of the heavenly dimension, down to this earth. Could that be what is getting ready to happen with appearance of UFO's, uh, I mean UAP's?
I never actually liked Star Trek though, couldn't handle all the silly looking monster aliens, they made me laugh. Lost In Space was more my line, even though it too at times had monster looking aliens, but not so much. God doesn't do monsters. You would probably find something to ponder in the original Star Trek series Season 3, episode 7.
Truth is often best told as fiction.
"This is why I believe the powers that be, through media, have been conditioning the world, trying to get us ready for Satan and his angels to appear here on earth, in plain sight. That is actually what Revelation 12:7-17 is pointing to, with Christ telling us when that war in Heaven happens, there will then be no more place found in Heaven for Satan and his angels."
Many people think the same, and I would say it has some merit to consider it that way. Quite a few events in the Bible, both past ones and prophecied future ones, would seem to be best (at this time) explained by the existence of space aliens and manifestations of supernatural beings.
For a number of years I've thought that they may well play a role in the latter days. They may not even be real in the sense they are portrayed, but I expect people will believe they are and they will be real actors in the play of the end times in that sense.
I'm old and don't expect to be around to watch it play out to find out for certain, but I imagine most of those younger than I am will be. But who knows, huge events and developments seem to be coming faster and faster and closer and closer together nowadays so maybe even I will be.
