For those who go to Costco and visit the food court, what do you like to order?

I've tried the hot dogs, and they're eh. I don't care for boiled hot dogs and maybe because I grew up with those.

The pepperoni pizza slice was pretty good and we're getting that today when we go. I cut mine in half and bring the second half home :)

My daughter told me to try the ice cream and I had vanilla which reminded me of a custard shop we had in my small town when I was a girl. Pretty good, but not as good as real ice cream.

For the price, you can't beat it.

Costco has become a cult.

Costco has become a cult.

That's the first time I've heard that.

We recently started a membership there when I ordered my birthday/Christmas present and realized that it was cheaper to pay for a membership than the 5% fee for non-members. Then we began going there once a month and found out that the prices ARE cheaper! I'm the grocery shopper and know exactly what I pay per item when it's on sale, and Costco beats the sale prices too. You buy larger quantities, but that's okay because we have plenty of room in our home to store things.

There are name brand items as well as the Costco brand Kirkland.

Now back to the OP food court, the pricing is worth the trip for us because it makes it a cheap date. Their $1.50 hot dog deal can't be beat anywhere because you get a HUGE hot dog and pop for $1.50. For under $10, we each get a slice of pepperoni pizza that fills the plate as well as a pop each (with free refills).

Curious to hear your thoughts!
That was a sort of tongue in cheek comment, but try typing Costco into a YouTube search to get an idea what I meant, or driving by my local Costco and seeing a hundred or more foot long line waiting to get in a half hour before opening time.

There is an account upgrade that gets people in early :)

Plus, if you're there early you can grab the really good rotisserie chicken freshly made for $4.99. Great deal and tastes yummy!

We've only got one Costco which I've never been to as it's in the North Island of New Zealand and I live in the South Island. You need a plane to get there (Or bus / ferry / bus). It's not worth paying the annual fee. We were meant to get one down here but it seems it's going up there again

When Costco gets the idea that we've also got a South Island I'll check it out.
