conversations for the gospel ... when a demon has control of the intellect -nothing makes sense .

random person in blue

i beleive in the good of all people

God didn't ..he sent his son to die and save us from our evil because he knows we can't save ourselves

yes but i beleive everyone is inherently good

every one ?

yes

so you dont beleive in the bible?

oh yes i beleive in the bible

but the bible says every one is not inherently good

yes but not every one beleives in the bible .

but you do ?

oh yes

but you disagree with it

no i beleive in the bible but i beleive everyone has goof that needs to be brought out .

so you dont beleive every one is a sinner and that needs to be saved ?

no

but you beleive in the bible ?

oh yes but every one views truth differently

so your saying truth is how a person sees it and if they see it different to you then they can just live and do what their truth says ?

yes that's right

so when child sex abusers say .".its is our normal sexual orientation the law needs to be changed " or a person hurts and murders others because that's their version of truth , your fine with that .

yes, that's their truth

but i'm confused by your words about you ,because you said your beleive in the bible

i do

but you have not agreed with it on one single point

no thats just your opinion

but i haven't given an opinion i just quoted the bible earlier

yes but your quoting your understanding of it

but i haven't told you my understanding yet
i just quoted it word for word
so why do you say you beleive the bible if you disagree with it ?i'm confused .

i beleive the bible and that every one is good i was baptised a roman catholic you know ...

so you beleive the bible but you dont beleive anything it says ?

agitated : that's why your shouldn't talk religion to people ...
-------------------------

- yi yi yi

a lot of people may say they have not personally witnessed a demonic manifestation .
i assure you ..- go out sharing the gospel and you will encounter it all over the place .they dont always fall down screaming out obscenities .but they always lie against the truth.
( though i have softened this a bit ..if i had pushed any further ..that person was about to pop and the obscenities would come .. i have seen that before )

You've demonstrated that the person represented in blue has some fairly obvious contradictory beliefs - the main one being what seems to be your measurement for truth - the bible as a whole as compared to what they say they believe that contradicts parts of it while still claiming they believe the bible.

Such contradictions obviously lead to confusion and lack of intellectual integrity - but I think it's a stretch to say that a demon has *control* of a mind. Influence, perhaps - and not for the reason you might think. Do you consider everyone who does not accept the bible as a whole demon controlled? Or just the ones that state that they do while holding opposing opinions to certain parts of it - in some cases because they are simply not aware of them? A fair amount of Biblical illiteracy amongst believers is not all that uncommon.

It's no use to have conversations about it without first praying that God opens their eyes. It's like explaining to your friend how nice the sunset is when your friend is blind, someone once said.

Lol I tried once. In my enthusiasm I went to a Freethinker forum and I also talked christianese LOL.
I said the God that answers by fire let Him be God. God's fire will fall in Holland. One Jewish atheist thought I believed that God was gonna destroy Holland with fire and got so mad that I was happy about that. Oh lol they almost gave him a ban because he got so angry. Oops sorry, my fault, I meant I believe that everybody will get to know Him, fire of the Holy Spirit.

I believe demons speak lies.
They are liars ..there is no truth in them,
I have seen befor. A person go from this conversation..to being agitated..to rolling back eyes and blaspheming putrid words against the lord jesus..
Im supposing you have not experienced such things .

Everything is because of demons. There's a demon behind every bush. Everything you do not understand is because of a demon. My ex once threw a demon of stupidity out of me, my goodness gracious me, still laughing about that one. Didn't work, better do a brain transplantation if you want me to be intelligent. My brain is affected by the blond shampoo.
But on a more serious note, the Bible says that the god of this world has blinded the thoughts of unbelievers, which means you have to pray so people will understand the gospel. But that doesn't mean that all those nice and friendly atheists are demon posessed LOL. Jesus and the apostles didn't kick demons out of all people to get them to believe.

No, not everyone has a demon but the sad fact is that in this day many do.

Who said anything anout possesion? I see people control the minds of other people thinking ,opinions and attitudes every day without ever being inside the and possesing them.i see denominational leadership do it too.
I see tv and movies do it...
A demon need not be in a person to manifest through them.

To answer your question you have to ask it correctly .
I never used the word "control"
My measurement of truth is Jesus.the living word of God.
Do i think every one is influenced demonicly in their anto jesus thought patterns?yes. The scriptures say so. Some already agree with the spirit of anti christ and want to beat god and be a god unto themselves.others are tricked ,decieved due to thier own desire to continue to enjoy the pleasures of the flesh.
Still others are blinded by the spirit of this world simply because they are being of putrid hatred and desire the eternal destruction of all flesh.
Christians are also greatly influenced by the demonic if they hold to unrepentant sin ..because the spirit of this worls works in the children of disobedience.. And unrepentance is disobedience.

As i said to another ..no one is speaking of possesion (refer my reply to messy)

Would i consider every one who spoke as in the quoted text of the op to be controlled...nope
But to be manifesting demonic presence.. Yes

Why ?,because there are only two kingdoms and the spirit of god in all forms cannot lie
.EDIT..ADD. MY apology- i added the word "control" to my intro, after i had typed the whole in. I forgot i did that and it was an error to use that word.. Sorry.:(

He opened their eyes so they understood the Scriptures.
To the natural man God's Word is nonsense. Lol once atheists were complaining because a guy tried to convert them using a LOT of Bible texts and they said stop using so much Bible texts. I said there's one nice Bible text: it's foolishness to non christians. No use to quote it. Lol one atheist said that was his favorite text in the Bible.

When I wasn't saved I could memorize John 3:16 for God so loved the world, but I had no idea what it meant. When I was saved I thought: oooooooh.

Talking the theology is different from taking to the soul. When you run into those whose souls need saved, you talk to their heart, pray for and with them. It is seed planting time, not harvest.

I know quite a few persons who do not believe the whole bible but esteem certain parts of it. They do not see it as nonsense, but they clearly do not accept certain parts while they do accept others.

Why not? I'm not ready to drink deadly poison or pick up snakes to prove some sort of integrity of belief to a whole book of books based on someone's definition of a faithful one. (Mark 16:18)

Many "whole bible" Christians will likewise fail this challenge and have to admit they are also pickers and choosers.

Who doesn't ? No theology is perfect, we see in a mirror, dimly.

Why? Because we dont tempt God by doing it deliberately? I believe that God can and will protect us if it is done in ignorance or necessity but to just do it to prove it no I dont think God will honor that, I believe it would be called lack of faith since you are testing to see if it triue
