Is Confucianism compatible with Christianity? Why or Why Not?

Didn't Confucius just give advice on how to be an ethical person? Christianity shows us that no matter how hard we try, we can't be the perfect being that God wishes us to be. It's why those sins had to be forgiven and He came here as man to die for us.

It's pretty hard to argue that any religion which doesn't have Christ can nevertheless be thought of as "compatible with Christianity." In fact, it's impossible.
