You display an unquestioning loyalty to the Vatican. I understand that you are doing whatever you can to deflect any criticism of the Vatican away so you don't have to look at the significant false teachings. Every person who is living in a cult does the same thing. The problem is never with their group, it's always with those who reveal the errors. The cult can even pick out verses to prop up their group think. What you are doing is really no different, except the Vatican is not traditionally labeled a cult.

MC, you rarely share what God's word says. I wholly support reading the entirety of God's word and letting it speak in its fullness, with no commentary from others until we have thoroughly observed, questioned and interpreted the passage or book ourselves. It would be commendable if you actually did that. But...you don't. You go directly to church tradition and catechism, which then becomes your means of interpreting scripture. You don't go directly to holy scripture. You go directly to church and then seek to prop up church by plucking Bible verses. Your methodology is wrong.

Thing is, we have several DIFFERENT topics going on (happens in threads as they continue).... At CF, we use to do "thread splits" rather regularly. Takes time for staff to do it but it was helpful.
