Are you feeling Christmassy or not?

Christmas blues can be hard, so how do you deal?

I am not feeling Christmassy this year. Its probably cause I'm not with my family so that has been hard.

I try my hardest but its just to hard and sad. :(

Maybe send a nice note to someone, or a surprise gift, or help out at a church that provides food for the less fortunate.

You'll be feeling Christmassy in no time. :)

You should try that or ask your husband to put one on. He just went to the grocery store wearing an Elf hat. :pound:
Or just watch Elf and sing along.

Krissy Cakes are you all alone for Christmas this year? Being alone is never easy and yet there are ways for you to not be alone for short periods of time by going out into the community and taking part in social events or church events or helping out at the soup kitchens. You see, the more you busy yourself with others the more you feel as if you are being used by God and then the loneliness escapes and you will be filled with hope for your future as you know there is more to life when you help fellow man.

No I have my husband here with me. I didn't last year. We fought and I kicked him out. I guess remembering that is hard during Christmas.

Then you must see how greatly the Lord has blessed you by giving you yet another year with your husband instead of being separated like last year. How great the Lord is and his generous blessings! Krissy Cakes, forget the past because you want to keep going forward to where God is taking you and for now you are with a wonderful person in your life so cherish this.

That's wonderful! Do you find that your blues have abated now that you've been celebrating the Lord's birth with family?
