If you have well water, you might prefer to drink bottled water, or if your public water is too chlorinated then you might drink the bottled kind instead. Our well water is really good tasting, but we'll drink bottled water from time to time. I like the spring bottled water instead of any type of filter due to my charcoal allergies.

What kind of bottled water is your preference?

I use a Brita filter for drinking water. It makes a difference to the taste of the water, although describing a taste difference is difficult.

At some point I want to get the plumbing updated and when that happens I want to put in a whole house filter, probably a softener, and maybe a reverse osmosis filter for drinking water. RO filtered water has pretty much everything removed, but it's not great for making coffee.
