Astronomers find evidence for ‘direct collapse’ black hole

Astronomers have discovered evidence for an unusual kind of black hole born extremely early in the universe. They showed that a recently discovered unusual source of intense radiation is likely powered by a "direct-collapse black hole," a type of object predicted by theorists more than a decade ago.

I'll tell my son or maybe he already knows. He talks a lot about black holes.

Balck holes are fascinating...it's nice to hear of a child who likes science, particularly cosmology. Perhaps he will follow in the footsteps of Gerard 't Hooft. :D

Space time bends, much like a fabric (as Einstein proved) and usually inflicts gravity, but could a black hole (or a wormhole) be the tear in space time which could lead to a parallel universe (multiverse theory or base-plate multiverse theory)? If so, then will it roll up like a scroll in the end?
