What was the original marathon bar? The one I remember as a child got renamed to Snickers. They aren't as good now, but that might be because I'm comparing my tastes as a teenager to my tastes as a *cough* older person.

An undertaker has kept this Marathon bar in his biscuit tin for thirty years
Ian Kay bought the Marathon bar as a memento, back when Mars announced they would be changing the name to Snickers

A marathon bar was chocolate covered caramel and no nuts like a Snickers. When you bit into it, the caramel stretched really long!
