Why is this diversity not worrying Christians?

You did not answer me. I asked you to define "to love", and your reply was "well, yeah". Please answer my question or I will find myself unable to continue this conversation.

Answer my question, please. And stop bombarding me with Bible verses. How do you define "to love"? What is "love"? Is it an emotion?

How do you define "to love"? Is it an emotion or a decision to obey someone?

Why is this diversity not worrying Christians?

Why would an omnibenevolent God allow a being who has only sought to steal, kill and destroy from the beginning (satan) to rule over anyone? That, to me, invokes the image of a king who allows his enemy to terrorize his people in order to test their loyalty. And if they are not loyal, they will...

Why is this diversity not worrying Christians?

How can I believe something if I don't even understand it? What exactly does it mean that Jesus defeated satan through His death and resurrection? Why was it necessary for Him to die and resurrect? He is all-powerful. He could have easily spoken satan out of existence. And, if satan is...

    Bertrand Russell on God

If you have a few minutes to spare, watch this short clip from an interview with Bertrand Russell. It summarizes several of his most important thoughts on God, religion and beliefs. One thing that I find fascinating in what he says is: "either a thing is true or it isn't; if it is true, you...

Have you read any of the holy books of other religions? If not, do you intend to?

How do you think we should discern what is good to take from the Scriptures and what isn't?

Have you read any of the holy books of other religions? If not, do you intend to?

Personally, I have not yet read any of the holy books of other religions, but I want to do so, if God wills it. Have you read any of the holy books of other religions (besides your own)? If not, do you intend to give any a read in the future? Why or why not?

Why is this diversity not worrying Christians?

No, you did not. You started the discussion with a "tu quoque" and then twisted my words to make it seem like I was the one bringing up other religions, when, in fact, I was merely replying to your reply about other religions. And yes, other religions agree upon how their adherents are saved...

Why is this diversity not worrying Christians?

🤦‍♂️ Yeah, I'm not wasting my time having this conversation. You're just claiming "I'm right, you're wrong" and twisting my words.

Why is this diversity not worrying Christians?

What are you talking about? Neither the TikTok video (I'm not sure what you mean by "article", as there is no article), nor my OP mentioned other religions. You're the one who brought up other religions.

Why is this diversity not worrying Christians?

We literally can't agree on WHY Christ had to suffer and die and on how salvation is achieved. Orthodox and Protestants believe that He died for completely different reasons. I'm sorry, but I think knowing the reason why an omnipotent God had to send His Son to suffer and die in order to be able...
