    I didn't say that faith is the cause of justification. Faith receives what happened at the cross.

    Well, justification is already a legal term. But that's a description of objective justification, that Christ justified us at the cross. We receive faith (by grace through faith) in order to benefit that justification and that's called subjective justification.
