    It was way too windy for me to chance it by going to the park to walk. Tree limbs flying about is no fun to get hit with, so I did all my steps indoors. I can't wait until it's consistently 60 degrees because then it's cool enough to do the tougher hikes and not die.

    The 10,000 steps myth

    I read either that article or a similar one last year. 10,000 works for me because it keeps my body in a good zone for calorie burning without being too hard on my knees, like 15,000 is. When I only do 7,500, I don't feel I've burned off enough calories.

    What medicine do you have to take daily to keep yourself alive? I had my thyroid removed 5 years ago and need thyroid hormones. I hate being forced to take something just to stay alive, but it's how it is for me now.
