Who is "him that justifieth the ungodly"?

Being justified refers to the "all have sinned". Since they all have sinned, all are also freely justified. That happens objectively, apart from us.

    Kitchens

I hate having an open kitchen! You have to see all my dirty dishes if you come over unannounced. We have open concept and I would never want another house like that. Some very old houses actually had the cooking area in the center of the home because that also provided heat from the fire.

Who is "him that justifieth the ungodly"?

It's not a construct of man. Refer back to the verse I gave: Romans 3:23-24 "...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." Do you deny this verse? You brought up in another post about...

Is this Bible verse a mistranslation?

But fear isn't what turns the Old Adam into the New Adam. That can only come from the Gospel.

Who is "him that justifieth the ungodly"?

Jesus died for all according to scripture: Romans 3:23-24 "...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." So yes, objectively we see that all are justified prior to believing. But we also...

Who is "him that justifieth the ungodly"?

Justification is a legal term. Objectively God has made a legal declaration, but until man has faith, it does not benefit him. That doesn't mean the declaration isn't true. We can't be justified unless it first was true by Christ's death and resurrection. Faith clings to that which is true...

Who is "him that justifieth the ungodly"?

No, as I explained "God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith."

Who is "him that justifieth the ungodly"?

Romans 3:23-24 "...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." This is the perfect verse to describe objective justification. We all have sinned and we all are justified. Now, does that...

Who is "him that justifieth the ungodly"?

They believe in the Savior, so it's not true that they have unbelief. I agree with you that objectively we are justified because of Christ's death and resurrection and then subjectively we receive faith to believe.

    Last week

My garden started dying from squash bugs. It was also the best week for gathering veggies and I gave them to my neighbors, but now the plants are about done because of the bugs.

Is this Bible verse a mistranslation?

Fear doesn't bring faith. The Gospel does.

    Going to the beach

I am allergic to most sunblock products, so I quickly swim and have my fun and then hide under the umbrella and beg the others with me to leave so we can go eat lunch :D

The hardest part about getting older

I think for women it could be prolapse of some body parts that no one ever told us about. I believe that we should be talking to teenage girls about it early on to do pelvic floor strengthening. Once you learn about those things, it's a little late and damage is already done.

    Lifestyle changes that save money

Not buying a new phone every year could really save some money and not buying that brand new $40,000 electric car is going to save some people tons of money they don't have. Maybe then they could pay off their student loans?

    Volunteer Work

I sometimes do things at the church, but it's quite a drive, so I'm not there as much as I was at my previous church. We're organizing an event where we will go to fold clothes for a charity sometime soon and I'll help out with that.
