    Ecumenical?

    We all need unity around the truths of God's Word, but heresies should not be any basis for unity.

    We don't deserve God's blessings

    Human nature has a desire to take credit, at least partly, for what it does. Instead of self-esteem, we need God-esteem.

    I think so. It's just like a person who passes along negative gossip about people without checking it out with the people it is about.

    Anger a sin?

    I think that it depends on the amount of self-centeredness that is involved in our anger. If we get angry at injustice for God's glory and not at the unjust person, leaving that person to God to judge, I don't think it's a sin. However, very little human anger is selfless; self is usually involved.

    Is God contained ?

    Psalm 139 refutes such an interpretation of the Lord's Prayer. God is everywhere; yet his kingly presence rules from heaven with Jesus at the father's "right hand." Jesus has his body in heaven; yet he is also God, present everywhere.
