    Saying you are simultaneously saint and sinner doesn't negate your identity in Christ. It affirms the truth that you still sin. 1 John 1:8 makes it clear that “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.”

    I hear that every now and again from people in all congregations that they don't feel as if they're a part of it. Have you considered suggesting an after service social hour with snacks and coffee? Maybe that would help open some doors?

    We're both saint and sinner as believers, and at times we'll be more saint and other times we'll be more sinner. I am baptized which means that I have the gift of the Holy Spirit and covered in Christ's righteousness. I don't have to go by feelings, I know that God is with me because He told me.

    Does anyone have a deck and has put in a ceiling underneath or some type of gutter system? We had some heavy rains tonight and wow, underneath the deck has washed out part of the dirt and I'd like to figure out a good way to stop that...that isn't too expensive.
