    Are the "creeds" Truth ?

If the creeds are true then they are as true as inspired true statements are. Truth is true no matter the source.

Yes, Jews do not sacrifice now and may never sacrifice again if the temple is never rebuilt yet many Christians (usually not Catholic Christians) think that the temple will be rebuilt and sacrifices will resume. It has something to do with chialiast end times theories. And yes again, the reason...

The fullness of him who fills all

And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. (Ephesians 1:22-23) In what way is the church the the fullness of him who fills everything in every way?

    Christ Jesus and Jesus Christ

Do you think that saint Paul refers to the Lord as both Christ Jesus and as Jesus Christ for a theological reason or is it just a matter of convenience?

Yes, yet a Muslim would say the same of his religion and a Mormon too. I guess one's reason for having faith - a specific faith, be it in YAHWEH alone, the Father the Son (Jesus Christ) and the holy Spirit, or God (Allah in Arabic) - is hard to justify beyond saying "I believe it".

Yes, perhaps that is the reason. Muslims have a similar view of Christians and consider both the old covenant laws and the new covenant as superseded by the revelation that they believe Mohammed received from God through Gabriel. I, of course, do not share either the Jewish or the Muslim view...

Thinking about chronology in the gospel according to saint John.

Eusebius in his Ecclesiastical History (Church History) wrote that saints Matthew, Mark, and Luke deal with the events in Christ's earthly ministry AFTER the arrest of saint John the Baptist while saint John deals with the events BEFORE saint John the Baptist's arrest. All four of the gospels...

Thinking about chronology in the gospel according to saint John.

Here is an image of a Jewish religious calendar. It will help with constructing a coherent chronology from the account in the gospel according to saint John and the gospels according to saints Matthew, Mark, and Luke. John 2:13 mentions the Passover this appears to be the first passover...

Chat Once upon a time ...

That's an explanation yet it also means that Christians no longer obey the laws about sacrifice and hence no longer implicitly believe them as a duty laid upon them and their progeny. Jews on the other hand see the sacrifices quite differently from Christians and would resume them if the right...
