    The prophet wrote to obey is better than sacrifice thus making the case that feeling very close to God and praying, singing, and all the other things that can make one feel close to God is less important than obeying God. One is to be a doer of God's word/works and not one who hears without doing.

    This is a simple Christmas cool/cold salad. Cook some kidney beans, some rice (basmati is best, but a well washed long grain will doo very well too), some chopped mushrooms, and some corn and some peas. Let them cool down, (you can cook the rice with Turmeric to make it yellow if you like)...
