    Sinning no more

I think it comes down to theology. Some folk believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God Romans 3.23 means that people sin each and every day.

    Henry VIII on Papal Authority

It's interesting history to me :) He wrote the book before he went a bit wild with divorces and beheadings. And he didn't start divorcing and killing his wives until after he decided to separate from the pope. I think that the pope was not willing to let Henry VIII divorce.

So... What are YOU doing? - Part 3

A few month back I got almost daily phone calls from some chap (usually with a Indian subcontinent accent) that my taxes were overdue and if I didn't contact them there would be legal action and possible arrest. It was very odd. An obvious scam. I suppose they hope to dupe some people into...

    Naughty but nice

In advertising one sometimes hears that some delicious food is naughty but nice. The idea apparently is that sweet (and probably fattening) food is a wicked pleasure that we can indulge but that in so doing we are a little bit naughty (probably harmlessly naughty). Underlying that idea is the...

Where have all the encyclopedias gone?

That is a good reason to keep local copies of the files, my friend. But even the idea of local copies is slowly vanishing. Chrome OS and other newer operating systems seem to be pushing people to store everything in servers remote from your home. In the "cloud".
