    Today's Appellations, Yesterday's Taunts

Catholics keep a level and balanced emotional and intellectual approach. We're still Catholic and we still have the Catholic Church regardless of what other people want to call us :)

    Disasters and Trump

Proof doesn't come into it does it? This is about prediction and balance of probabilities.

    Disasters and Trump

Sanctions can be interpreted as acts of war. Sanctions often have been interpreted that way and led to all out war.

    Disasters and Trump

Economic sanctions and sanctions on goods and services are hostile acts. That is too obvious to need justification.

    Bell Ringing

My parish church building will soon acquire two large stained glass windows. And our Altar is - from a protestant perspective - elaborate. Our building is about 10 years old.

    Bell Ringing

Bell towers look nice and the sound of church bells in the morning and the evening is charming.

    Bell Ringing

My parish church has no bell tower and no big bell. One in a neighbouring parish does have a tower but I do not think that they have a bell in it. The neighbours might complain if they ran it at 07:30 on Sunday mornings ...

    Paul VI Audience Hall

It's filled up on Wednesdays apparently - for the papal audience. He teaches for a while each Wednesday. I think that the text of the teaching is downloadable from the Vatican web site.

    Dinosaurs and Spaceships

Today's dinner was green beans, red capsicum, corn, peas, carrot, onion, some vegetable stock, some cheese, chilli, and some basmati rice. Cooked in one pot. Made a nice dinner and a spare for another meal.
