What exactly is revival? People tell me that Perth had a revival in the 1990s and some tell me that there's a revival at "Riverview church" in recent years but when the Australian Bureau of Statistics census results are checked there's no significant change in the number of people identifying as...
I wonder what results we'd get if a double blind statistical study were done on people with serious illnesses and injuries being healed with or without prayer and/or belief in God?
The passage says that "we should walk" in the good works that God prepared.
Ephesians 2:1-10 1 And you were once dead in your sins and offenses, 2 in which you walked in times past, according to the age of this world, according to the prince of the power of this sky, the spirit who now works in...
I have no difficulty avoiding it. We're saved by grace through faith for the purpose of the good works that God has prepared for the faithful to do. That isn't synergism and it isn't monergism it is grace.
Of course it is silly and laughable; that's what you get when somebody who is not a Lutheran tells Lutherans what they believe. I get the same desire to burst out laughing when somebody who is not a Catholic tells Catholics what they really believe.

I make stuff like this but with more tomatoes in it. I use tomato paste instead of tomato sauce and I'll add a can of diced tomatoes. I also add some chilly sauce just to spice it up a little and some garlic.
I've seen videos of claimed miracles in Orthodox and Catholic churches and I doubt the claims just as much as I doubt the videos with claimed miracles in charismatic and Pentecostal churches. On miracles claimed in videos being sceptical is a good idea.
Catholics think synergism vs monergism is a protestant thing like supralapsarianism vs infralapsarianism and calvinism vs arminianism.
Catholics teach that you're saved by grace through faith for the purpose of doing the good works that God prepared for the faithful to do.
We did the baptism thing to death. Let's not do it again. Those who teach credobaptism okay do that and those who teach paedobpatism okay do that. Evangelism is a different issue.
Quite true. I am not sure how one can believe in OSAS. It makes no sense especially when it is suggested that not believing in OSAS means you're going to hell or something.
