    the house launches impeachment hearings

Sure that's what it is. It has nothing to do with his questionable financial dealings or unethical behavior

What is the hardest food or drink to give up?

I love Krispy Kream donuts, but they do terrible things to my blood sugar, so I usually don't get them. Unless my blood sugar is low then I can have one.

JOHN 20:23 IS NOT FOR THE CHURCH TODAY

To be honest, I'm less sure about that one. Since the disciples in this context could represent the church. Aren't we called to share the gospel as much as we are able to? How is that not being a part of the Great Commission?

    the house launches impeachment hearings

The Ukraine thing is a big deal if a whistleblower came forward with a complaint and the White House did not report it to Congress as they should have. That's called obstruction of justice.

    What's your best childhood memory?

It would have to be going to the grandparents house for Christmas. They spoiled us rotten

    What was your first job?

Several times I have worked in department stores and always hated it, but I did like the employee discount

JOHN 20:23 IS NOT FOR THE CHURCH TODAY

One thing is that it seems clear he was speaking directly to the disciples about their authority as apostles. The other thing is that if it applied to us today then how would you apply that in daily life? If your mad at someone just don't forgive them? How exactly would that work?

    the house launches impeachment hearings

Speaker Pelosi stated today that the house of representatives will start an impeachment inquiry. Something that more or less had already started as Trump has had six different committees investigating his behavior. Here is the article about it. What do you think...

JOHN 20:23 IS NOT FOR THE CHURCH TODAY

I would have to agree with you that the verse in John does not apply to believers today. It was specifically spoken to the disciples.

    What was your first job?

    On HEALING

It's true that that is not your way. I think you also have to understand that your not the pastor of all or most of the people who come to this forum. They hear a sermon from the church they attend. You would get a better response if you want discussion if you shared perhaps one or two...

    Death by Judgment

Yes, I believe the government has that right. Certainly God gave the nation of Israel that right to deal with sin and law breakers in the Old Testament with capital punishment. It seems that there are some crimes that are so horrible that the person simply doesn't deserve to live due to that...

    Why early morning prayer

I think one thing is that it sets the tone for the rest of the day. My day always seems to go better when I pray in the morning because I have sought God's face first and asked for wisdom and direction from him for whatever comes up during the day

How much daily time in prayer?

I think it varies. The truth is that I don't spend as much time as I should in prayer everyday. Some days I do very well and may spend an hour or more. Other days I spend very little and it is more like an ongoing conversation throughout the day, as I am driving usually or have a quiet moment.

    On HEALING

I wouldn't consider the promise in Exodus 15 to be able to be applied to us. God was making a specific promise to the people of Israel as they crossed the wilderness on the way to the promise land.

    On HEALING

As I think I have said before you will find out that most people on here won't watch a long video teaching. The context to the promise in the first part of Exodus 15 is the nation of Israel. Though nobody should doubt that God can heal whenever he wants to

Pompeo calls attack on Saudi Arabia a "Iranian attack"

my concern with that would be that Iran would both step up their terror attacks and also try to engage Israel into all out war.
