    You wrote "If God"....don't you mean "since God the Father is Omnipotent/Sovereign/All knowing"? Lutherans believe that when we pray, we hope that our prayers are in line with God's will. God doesn't need our prayer to make anything happen.

    I was able to do my 3 mile hike yesterday and it was a little bit over so at the end of the week I'll have more than my 15 mile goal if I can keep getting back out there. It's supposed to rain today and I don't go out there when it's rainy because it's too slippery and dangerous.

    My dad said he met my mom at a party when they were teenagers. It wasn't long before he walked 3 hours to go visit her (because he didn't have a car).

    Yesterday was definitely hot here too and my body remained warm ALL day and ALL night. This thyroid hormone mess is going to make me have a miserable summer if this keeps up.
