    Issues with Iconography

If people pray directly to the image instead of God. Do they do that?

    Texas 12 days after opening

Aren't there like 10 other states that are also open? I need to look into that and their stats as well. It's interesting to see how stats from one section of the country are included in news reports but not other stats.

@Hope1960 are you looking for Lutheran Only responses? If that's the case we have Prefixes of different denominations in this part of the site for the threads. If you wish to change it to that we can make the announcement here in the thread and then any other responses afterward will be trashed...

    Texas 12 days after opening

I like to bring up new data when it's available. So many people online (not here) were balking about Texas opening back up, but now there isn't much talk about it since the numbers didn't surge!

Can an animal sacrifice in the present atone for the sins of someone who died in the past?

You have to look at the animal sacrifices while keeping in mind the promise of the Savior in Genesis. The sacrifices were not above the faith that God's Children had in the Savior and there is that connection that should not be overlooked.

    Texas 12 days after opening

Texas fully opened the state 12 days ago and I've been keeping an eye on the Covid case numbers as well as deaths. You would think that such a thing would make case numbers rise, but they haven't. There has been a steady decline. That's excellent news! You can google Texas Covid Cases to get...

Can an animal sacrifice in the present atone for the sins of someone who died in the past?

I did answer your question. The promise of the Savior was given in Genesis right after the fall. Those who had faith in that promise had salvation. Those who rejected the promise of the Savior damned themselves. So to AGAIN answer your question, sacrificing an animal would not gain them...

    USA Biden Stumbles 3 times

I'll keep hunting for the official release of the data but I read that the wind speed was only 14mph.

Can an animal sacrifice in the present atone for the sins of someone who died in the past?

I answered your question! I answered it repeatedly. I'm having a really difficult time trying to understand why a Christian doesn't agree that Jesus' death atoned for the sins of those who died before us.

No. I watched a different view of this video https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/joe-biden-stairs-fall-fuels-health-problems-claim-among-critics/ar-BB1ePX1D You can tell it's not wind related. The man has balance issues.

    Signs of Dementia

Different dementias have different signs. It's not a one size fits all. Here is a snip from something I just came across and it resembles my mother-in-law's experience: Her earliest signs were personality changes, muscle stiffness, repetitive hand motions (I thought it was a nervous habit...

Can an animal sacrifice in the present atone for the sins of someone who died in the past?

This is different than what you initially asked in the OP. If you're worried about their sins being atoned you shouldn't be looking to a sacrifice but instead look to whether they believed in the Savior who was to come since they already died. I have said it before and will keep repeating it...

    Signs of Dementia

In a thread on Biden I brought up dementia and how Biden has the signs of it. I don't say it to be mean or to degrade the man. It's very sad when someone starts to lose his cognitive ability so when I bring it up about him I'm doing so in hopes that even though it's being denied by others that...

Can an animal sacrifice in the present atone for the sins of someone who died in the past?

God demanded that blood be shed for sin. Do you notice that in animal sacrifice that the people who sinned had no harm done to themselves? They didn't have to suffer and not a drop of their own blood was shed. This is how God introduced His people to a substitutionary atonement. He introduced...

Okay. But we're still talking about Biden in this thread. Trump is no longer President.

Can an animal sacrifice in the present atone for the sins of someone who died in the past?

The promise of the Savior was in Genesis. That's the Gospel, the Good News and its' the hope of what the Hebrews/Israelites/Jews had and was their faith that gave them salvation. The animal sacrifice was because blood needed to be shed until Jesus came. Jesus' sacrifice lacks nothing and their...

Can an animal sacrifice in the present atone for the sins of someone who died in the past?

Those were temporary atonements made but not the spiritual atonement we need that only comes from Jesus' death and resurrection. No, an animal sacrifice to try to make atonement would be rejection of Jesus. Why would you slap God in the face like that?
