    If nothing else, a person would know, from a Lutheran POV, what communion represents and the basis for it. Agree or not, for information's sake I would think it might be worthwhile.

    Folks have done a fine job explaining from scripture in this thread. And, unless what you hear every Sunday is 22-46 minutes (give or take) of rote bible from the mouth of the Pastor, what you're hearing is "man-made script". It's just script that suits you.

    I guess it was about six months ago now that 'Karma' was put to sleep. She had kidney issues and was getting weaker by the day. She tolerated things for a while, then stopped eating and drinking. Great kitty! :)
