    I know people who read the bible every day and still aren't very strong in faith but confused and scared so it's not because our doing that makes it so. It's still according to God's good will if He is ready to strengthen our faith.

    Yes if we do sin and confess to the Savior we will be forgiven because that sin was forgiven at the cross. What do you mean avoiding certain sin? Do you think if you're avoiding certain sin that you're getting into heaven because of that?

    The Law should be given to those who are confident in their sins. That's a different story. That's not what this thread is about. This thread is about those who are so fearful that if they do sin that they won't get into heaven. And those think they stopped sinning and that gets them into heaven.

    If we reject the Savior we won't get into heaven. If we don't believe that's rejection of the Savior. Other than that, all our sins were forgiven at the cross. As a believer you're covered by the righteousness of Christ and this not of yourself.
