    I agree. It's foolish to try to communicate with the dead because the demons are deceptive and try to trick men into thinking they're talking to lost relatives/loved ones. Demons want us to think that we won't be with God when we die.

    Does your church put out a newsletter? Is it printed or sent through email or maybe they offer both ways? Which do you prefer?

    The hardest goodbye

    Saying goodbye to my mom before she passed away was the hardest. I understood why she was ready to go and since she was a Christian it was easier in that aspect since I know I'll see her again when I pass as well. But that loss of earthly relationship is still hard.

    It's in the 20s F right now and might warm up into the 30s later on because the sun is shining. The rest of the week will be 50s and 60s but rain. I'm hoping it will be pleasant enough to get some walking done at the park.

    We moved 8 years ago for my husband's job and we settled in the home we're living in now because of the beautiful bucolic setting.

    Some of my old toys from when I was really young! I kept them for the memories but then always though I'd be a grandmother and my daughter insists she's not having kids ever so I should get rid of the toys.
