    I've seen some photos and there is a lot of damage. What's really scary is that there wasn't as much coverage about evacuating as the last hurricane. I know they wanted evacuations done but it came so quickly I don't know if people had as much time to prepare?

    Home remedies

    The only home remedy that I have found to work with me when I have a sore throat is to gargle with warm salt water. Any other home remedy for being sick or allergies doesn't work with me at all.

    It was nice but not a lot of neighbors showed up. There was a high school girl who asked me if I was a substitute teacher because I look like one of hers at her school. I laughed and said I used to be a sub in Indiana but not here. I guess I still look like a sub!
