    The Good News is that Jesus overcame death. Yes, He preached the Gospel because scripture says that He did and He descended into Hell because scripture says that He did.

    Bible Villains, can you relate?

    The bible has some people we could label as villains. Do you relate to any of them or their sin? It's hard to be honest about this one and there are times when I read about some of the bad things and think that I probably could have been so selfish to do the same thing.

    Reading scripture - there is more than one way.

    I finally read this thread...I like what the OP says but I'd like to say that even though WE have intentions of how we're going to read scripture, it's the Holy Spirit who will use the Word of God according to His will. His will trumps our good intentions :D
