    God uses His Word and specifically the Gospel message to give faith. He does so according to His will and His timing. No one comes to the Father unless God first grants that to them by faith. You're repeating the verses but aren't grasping what they mean.

    Repentance isn't just about our actions though and feeling sorry for what we have done and trying to do the right thing after that. Repentance is getting right with God by faith. The ignorant can't do that. They have no hope in God because no one comes to the Father unless it is granted to him.

    I grew up eating a lot of cabbage because it was cheap but my husband doesn't like the smell of it when it cooks so he doesn't like it when I make it at home. My mom used to just fry it up with butter and onion and there was dinner.
