    What Kinds of Clothes do You Wear in the Summer?

    Since I am mostly home I wear capris and t-shirts but when I go out I have jean shorts/capris and blouses that I can wear. I'm not a dress person because where I used to live if women wore dresses they were asked if they were Baptist.

    I usually go to Giant grocery store. It's a big chain. The prices are higher than where I used to live but that's because everything is higher where I live now but at least we get points toward a discount on gas which is nice!

    Aww. I saw online that there is a local beer fest around here but it cost $40. I don't drink so I would only pay $5 to get in. That's still a lot of money to wander.

    Summertime festivals? Greek fests? Church festivals? Art festivals? Where I used to live there were tons of festivals from spring through fall. It was great. Where I live now there aren't that many.

    This is true...these things can divide a church. People get mad if the carpet color gets changed! Hopefully a good pastor can get them to reconcile before it tears their world apart.

    I don't see my parents very often anymore either. I was hoping my dad would be able to visit this month but he had some stuff at home that had to be taken care of. What things did you and your parents do for the visit? Restaurants? Shopping? Tourist things?
