    Thank you MS. Yes they do help us get around but are sort of annoying because they are so awkward to go down steps. I take it off now to go down the steps. I priced it online and it is $249.00 with the blow up valve in it. My insurance covered it, thankfully. Thank you for your well wishes...

    I am hobbling, no crutches. I hope I will heal quickly, too, but I think it still takes 6 weeks altogether for it to heal up. I'm afraid to try to go down the steps because I almost fell again with this cumbersome cast on. It's a boot cast, I look like I have a robot foot!! lol
