    Thank you. Since the "temple" is not referring to the individual alone then it cannot be meaning suicide at all in the verse about destroying.

    “Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person.” Is the "you" in that verse plural in the Greek?

    Exactly!! Not all are saved just like in today's country of Israel, God won't save those who reject Him. He has a remnant of believers within that country.

    Being an artist I will tell you that artists tend to draw other people in their own image and that's not always done purposely. Unless the artist is of great magnitude in his skills you will always find parts of his own face when he draws portraits of other people.

    Thanks. I've worked so hard and this is the first garden I've had at this house since we moved here almost 5 years ago. It's disheartening. At least the groundhogs get all the ruined produce :D

    I grew up in a heavy Catholic town and none of them told me I wasn't Christian. I got married in a Catholic church and not even the priest told me that :o

    That's very true! There is another term used...BELIEVER. A believer is called that because believes in the Savior. Could "follow" therefore mean "believe"?

    I can't BE a Christian unless I have faith. It is all God's doing. I'm not even a Christian by what I do or how I act. I'm a Christian because of God. "Follow" God doesn't mean I'm on my own. It's always God. He lives in me. I am His.

    1 Corinthians states our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit... Is a Christian a temple even though when he sins?
