    I have the impression that the O.T. is more accurate than the New. Ah see, the Jews were more accurate, well 99.5 % ain't that bad lol. While the quality of the Old Testament manuscripts is excellent, that of the New Testament is very good. https://bible.org/article/how-accurate-bible

    Yes that's the main reason I don't read NIV. That's not a minor thing. Still some horrible translations are handy if you have no idea what the text even means. Had that with some Dutch texts. The language was accurate, but so old, I had no idea what it meant.

    It ruins your taste, but I learned to eat some meat. If it's barbecued I like it. I asked my dad how on earth he did that. Imagine I would only feed my kids vegetables and potatoes and beans.
