Be good or you won't get into heaven

Oh I agree, just that before in the OT it is very difficult to find a specific person that didn't stumble a time or two as Christ knew no sin... to be more 'Christ-like' is to follow his example imo Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk

Be good or you won't get into heaven

Its interesting to see all the OT characters fall short and in the NT we see our example and it's finished. The rest is determined by if we accept Christ and are baptised (written in the lambs book)... :) Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk

Why are Christians so old-fashioned about sex?

Why are Christians so old-fashioned about sex?

Yeah they were pretty strict on it, they also had some very scary demonic forces in that house "manifestations" which tells me that they made the devil pretty upset with there commitment to the Lord... down to my grandpas last breath, he was praying and my aunt saw something dark hovering over...

Why are Christians so old-fashioned about sex?

I was pressured by my friends and I lost my virginity at 15, years later it turned out they were actually still virgins... I was also an atheist kinda, more like willingly rebellious against God because I listened to garbage Marylin manson "music" at that time and it was "cool" to hate God...

    Crucified with Christ

I was going to suggest backsliding in general, ex discipling, Judas, its taught much but a direct verse depends on the reader, a bit of connecting the dots which is difficult to show someone especially with people of different views. But yes I agree with what j posted. Im just being lazy about...

Should Psalms be used to support doctrine?

Our church did a sermon on not hanging up your harps based on psalms it was really good. Inspired me to go home and play a song inspired by that psalm "by the rivers of babylon... Where we sat down... And there we wept... When we remembered zion... How the wicked carried us away in captivity...

Should Psalms be used to support doctrine?

Jesus quoted psalms on the cross "My God why hast thou forsaken me"... it also holds a lot of foreshadowing on Jesus death. I love me some psalms :) Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk

    "Post-NT" doctrine literature

But Jesus died tho and he went to hell and came back via the resurrection, hung around a bit and was witnessed and then ascended to Heaven, after that came the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Indeed he was raised by God but he still died, the Quran says it wasn't Jesus who died on the cross...
