I have had tests for my A1C. I had tests in the pasts where it was low enough that I didn't need to take my meds. (doctors orders) I can't remember the last one I had done was. 9 maybe if not higher. I will take time later to read those links.

I have always been open and honest about my mental illnesses. I take meds and feel if I didn't, most people wouldn't like me and I would get really depressed and end up back in the hospital. I need my meds to function and for the sake of everyone else. :P
I went to the hospital and they gave me insulin and fluids. Got it down in the 200's. They gave me a prescription for a new diabetes med called glipiZIDE {Glucotrol}
Just got home from my sister in laws house. We had Easter dinner and my blood sugar when I got home was 559. :nonono: Started drinking water and its down to 512.
