    That's what we do too!! My husband used to collect credit cards and when we went to get a mortgage, we were told he had to get rid of some because the bank wouldn't give us a loan with so many!! I think we got rid of 5 of them and 5 more were inactive anyway. We don't have as many these days...

    We have a lot of older people in my church and I know a couple of times that the ones with dementia have forgotten my name. Name tags would help out at my church for sure. But then we'd forget to put them on LOL As for Bonnie, you could always call out her name and see which one turns her head??

    Saying you are simultaneously saint and sinner doesn't negate your identity in Christ. It affirms the truth that you still sin. 1 John 1:8 makes it clear that “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.”

    I hear that every now and again from people in all congregations that they don't feel as if they're a part of it. Have you considered suggesting an after service social hour with snacks and coffee? Maybe that would help open some doors?
