    Yesterday I walked 2 miles outside and then rode my bike that's attached to the trainer for 20 minutes. Today my husband and I walked 4.2 miles.

    The rules of real Roller Derby don't allow for hair pulling or punching, etc. You can bump another person but it has to be done a certain way. I think what you've seen of roller derby has been on tv or in a movie but those moves are illegal.

    My daughter is training to get into a roller derby club and they had a 5k skating race in a nearby city and she got 1st place!! There were no age groups, just everyone lumped together. I'm a proud Mom :stars:

    Planting Pumkins - Tips needed

    Thanks for all the advice! I know there are different species of pumpkins to grow. A friend of mine who lives in Florida says that they can't grow the carving pumpkins there because of the high humidity. I might have to investigate as to which kind will grow where I live.
