    To me it is showing respect because isn't God one of order and wanting worship to be about him? A church I attended used to be chaotic in nature and made me so uncomfortable to be there. There are people who push the listen to God and that still small voice and yet the awful me noise is atrocious.

    I have a problem with the title and perhaps it is more semantics than the idea. I prefer to not think of it being my faith that blesses but the one who is my faith and I can hear people balk now but it makes it more about God when I think of it in that manner.

    Didn't you just tell her that God wouldn't be around if there was some rigid form even if his Word was present? It would seem to me that God would be more present in a service where his Word was prevalent and not some happy clappy pastor makes it up weekly to try to entertain service, am I right?

    What do you mean by force us? I'm trying to see how you view that in light of thinking how Adam was born and didn't have to choose God or give his heart to him, right? Do you see the connection between the old Adam of the old testament and how we are the new adam being born with faith from God?
