God wouldn't give a command we couldn't fulfill

I'm trying to get something straight, when you say Saved from breaking the commandments are you saying that you're covered in the blood of the lamb Jesus the Christ when you do sin? One reason that a lot of non-Christians HATE Christians is because there is a group of Christians who insist they...

God wouldn't give a command we couldn't fulfill

This is in response to a post I saw this week but didn't reply right away and it's been in my mind ever since so maybe we can talk about this. I saw a poster write that God wouldnt' give us a command we couldn't fulfill and I"m not sure if those are even the exact words but you get the idea...

Praying to the deceased - correlation with those who believe in ghosts?

I am a bit curious if there is a correlation between those who pray to the deceased if they also believe that the deceased become ghosts who still walk the earth and haunt us? I don't believe in ghosts but I know there are Christians who do and I think the evil spirits are just tricking y'all <_<

    What is sin?

If we say we have no sin...that's not past tense now is it, it's on going and current and shows us that we all still sin even those who say they have no sin ,which we've seen often on Christianity Haven. I've never come across such a stubborn person in my life who insists he has no sin!

    What's your faith about?

How on earth could it be about me since I never claimed to have faith in me but in Jesus only and of myself? As someone else wrote already it's my faith because it was given to me and God is growing my faith daily and building me up because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God...

Justification: By OUR works or CHRIST'S works?

Hey, folks, we got it that sanctification follows justification so it doesn't need to be thrown back again and again and again here so let's talk about Justification because wow, if we went through and eliminated the posts that are about sanctification guess how many we'd actually left here in...

    LAW and GOSPEL

Jesus preached both Law and Gospel so can YOU tell the difference between what Law and Gospel are because I'd like to hear your definition and I'm not sure you've given it yet. If you did then I've missed it so you can go ahead and point to that post in this here thread.

    LAW and GOSPEL

What is good news if Jesus didn't get the task done is my question because what kind of lame good news is it to be told you are forgiven except your really not and you still need to do do do. How is that trusting in a savior for salvation if I gotta trust in me instead. ..who will save me you...

Justification: By OUR works or CHRIST'S works?

Why do you keep bringing that up when it's not the topic of the thread? I just don't get why the push about sanctification when Josiah is trying to talk Justification because isn't that rude?

are we saved if we remain in sin -? no

What's this robot crap I keep hearing people talk about whenever it's brought up that God is working within our lives?
  14. TurtleHare

    What is sin?

Concerning Justification all sins are to be considered mortal but in the case of sanctification there are mortal and venial sins although they are not defined in the same way that the roman catholic church does.

Name those sins Christ didn't die for

Do those who believe in a lie have faith or not because it depends on what the lie is you know? Don't you think in some way that Satan has given us lies to believe so that we stop looking to the Savior?

are we saved if we remain in sin -? no

Who keeps us in faith but our Lord God so hows about we give credit where credit is due since HE is our Savior and not ourselves. We only remain in faith because HE keeps us there, thank you God for all you do to save us.

    What is sin?

I'm getting it? How about you getting the fact that it's God who brings us to faith and keeps us in faith instead of giving us law like you keep on doing because giving the law isn't showing what God is doing since He is the one saving us. You just keep on trying though and maybe someday you'll...

are we saved if we remain in sin -? no

How about rather Yes Lord there you are? That goes a lot further.

    What is sin?

Who are you responding to since I don't see someone talking about faulty covenants.
