What year was it when Protestants first started to remove books from the Holy Bible?

Why does Maccabees deserve to be included but the Gospel of Thomas that includes direct quotes from Jesus does not? Early Church Fathers read and mentioned both! It is a direct questioning of your apriori assumptions. If all books read by the earliest Christians are SCRIPTURE, then the Gospel...

What year was it when Protestants first started to remove books from the Holy Bible?

    1. I have no idea if the Aleppo Codex was created by Jewish or Christian scholars, only that it was the first modern OT to exclude the apocryphal books (however it was written in Hebrew and you may have only been interested in the English Bible). 2. I answered your question which you so...

I’ve heard it said that it’s mainly evangelical Christians who refuse to get the vaccine

Has it been the consensus for months that the virus never spreads by droplets so masks have no effect? That is what is required to safely say “masks make no difference and are completely unnecessary”. Everything I read says that is the question that they are trying to answer to determine if it...

I’ve heard it said that it’s mainly evangelical Christians who refuse to get the vaccine

I suspect that may be part of a “carrot” to entice people to get a vaccine. I mean, it makes sense that people who are resistant to infection do not need masks, but it is also nice to feel like you can get back to normal with just a simple shot and lifting the mask mandate does that.

What year was it when Protestants first started to remove books from the Holy Bible?

The Hebrew Tanakh (old testament) dates back to ancient times, and does not include apocryphal books. c. AD 900–1000 (Aleppo Codex oldest copy in Hebrew without apocrypha) May 1885 (First removed in English for the KJV Bible)

What year was it when Protestants first started to remove books from the Holy Bible?

What year was it when Protestants first started to remove books from the Holy Bible? Between AD 314-339, Eusebius removed “The Gospel of Thomas” and included it among a group of books that he believed to be not only spurious, but "the fictions of heretics". (There may be earlier books removed...

I’ve heard it said that it’s mainly evangelical Christians who refuse to get the vaccine

The issue is not the facts, but the lack of consensus about which facts apply. 1. A mask and cleaning surfaces will stop the spread of droplets. Most germs are spread by droplets that travel a short distance, settle on a surface, and are picked up by someone touching that surface. When COVID...

Then don’t get vaccinated. Just don’t claim that the vaccinations do nothing when the data shows that it prevents infection in over 90% of the cases of exposure (70% for the J&J 1 shot) and typically reduces a severe symptom case to a mild symptom case and mild symptom case to no symptoms...

I’ve heard it said that it’s mainly evangelical Christians who refuse to get the vaccine

A quick question, how can one tell if a person without a mask has been vaccinated or not? Do we really assume that nobody ever lies about something like that and they would all wear a mask if they were not vaccinated? I think that is the driving force behind the slow lifting of mask...

I’ve heard it said that it’s mainly evangelical Christians who refuse to get the vaccine

The benefit to you is minimal. The benefit to society is debatable (and being debated). The bottom line is that as long as the infection rate is high enough to threaten hospital capacity, business will remain on restrictions. The vaccine can accelerate the reduction in new cases and speed...

I’ve heard it said that it’s mainly evangelical Christians who refuse to get the vaccine

It offers about a 90% resistance. So 9 out of 10 times that you receive an exposure in high enough concentration that you should become ill, you will not because of the injection. If 80% of the population becomes “virtually immune”, then a sick person will be unlikely to spread the virus to...

What year was it when Protestants first started to remove books from the Holy Bible?

You clearly are not really asking a question here (given the depth of research you so quickly present), so I leave you with a final quote more appropriate to the intentions of your heart: Proverbs 6:16-19 [NKJV] These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud...

What year was it when Protestants first started to remove books from the Holy Bible?

I stand corrected. It breaks my heart to learn that the Church chose to reject the teaching of the Gospels and Paul and have their ears tickled with apostasy so soon after Jesus’ Disciples left them. Truly: “These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But...

What year was it when Protestants first started to remove books from the Holy Bible?

The exact date will vary with the printing and translation and denomination and specific book you are referring to. Some books were NEVER in European Bibles, but were in Oriental Orthodox Bibles. Some books were removed from the Latin to German translation. Some were included and others...

What year was it when Protestants first started to remove books from the Holy Bible?

They were NEVER declared divine scripture. That is the point. Just like the Map of Israel in the Appendix is never divine scripture, whether my Bible has one or not.

You heard it because humor at the expense of any religious or ethnic group is so politically incorrect that one would need to beaten in public to prove they were truly sorry, and still not be forgiven ... unless the target is white Christians, then the humor is funny because we are all ignorant...

What year was it when Protestants first started to remove books from the Holy Bible?

Never. They stopped including non-scripture within the covers of the Holy Bible. It was more like deciding to delete or include a map of the Middle East in the appendix. The four Gospels were bound together in one scroll collection by the second century and accepted by every Christian Church...

    Was Ezra a prophet?

No. It had to be affirmed by a prophet as inspired by God. Psalms are songs, not prophecy and Kings and Chronicles are histories, not prophecy. Maccabees was written at a time when there were no Prophets to authenticate it, and the Gospel Writers and Jesus never quote it as scripture (“It is...

    Was Ezra a prophet?

[Rev 19:10 NKJV] 10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "See [that you do] not [do that]! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." Does Ezra point to the Way of the...
